Plan, edit and design McClatchy’s Extra Extra — a daily digital newspaper available only to subscribers. Curate stories from McClatchy’s 29 newsrooms and D.C. political bureau to create a comprehensive national report. Write headlines and other display copy in a specific voice for a wide variety of journalism. Lead a team of five editors and designers.

Designed and edited the international weekly edition, created the design style for NYT: Spending Well and edited for the wire service. It was required to be an expert on Associated Press style for a position on the wire service.

Editor
Directed coverage and oversaw the design of Sooner yearbook and a weekend campus publication. Wrote feature stories and profiles. Directed all promotional and business aspects of the yearbook. Won the 2012 Yearbook Pacemaker, college media’s highest honor.
